Above, William Cahill late 70's wedding gown (click on thumbnails for more detail): transition from too small a size with full sleeves, collar and lining into a custom gown.
After a redesign consultation with Nikolina, this bride worked with our amazing seamstress Emily who created the following changes:
new custom sizing
sleeves removed
shortened lining to expose windowpane train
full satin back removed to create racerback
lace appliques harvested from sleeves to finish racerback
shoulders removed and neckline narrowed to reveal mock lace halterneck
